Naomi Kuria, a Kenyan digital creator and influencer with a substantial social media following, and her fellow content creator, Diana Daisy, arrived in Indonesia recently for what they believed would be a normal visit.

Shortly after landing in the Indonesian capital, however, they were stopped by immigration officers and subsequently detained at an immigration facility.
