Philanthropist Eric Omondi held a presser and broke down over the overwhelming cries for help from Kenyans.

His Sisi Kwa Sisi movement provides crucial support to those in need, and he sometimes uses his own money.

Social media users reacted emotionally to the video, praising Eric's commitment to changing lives.

Comedian and philanthropist Eric Omondi has broken down while sharing the large number of cries for help he receives from Kenyans.

Eric has made an impact on many Kenyans through the Sisi Kwa Sisi movement, in which he rallies support for needy cases.

However, sometimes, the entertainer is forced to dip into his pocket to assist some Kenyans.

On Friday, December 19, Eric had a presser and found it difficult to hold back the tears.

According to the philanthropist, he receives many messages daily from Kenyans in need of assistance.

"My phone is filled with many things. Only God knows, women and children are dying. But I cannot go on live every time giving the number for donations. I don't want us to tire Kenyans," Eric said while fighting back the tears.

He said that the Sisi Kwa Sisi ministry had turned into a ministry.

"God gave it to me. When you see me get emotional, you should get this phone to stay with it for six hours to go through it."

According to Eric, many Kenyans use the platform to unburden themselves; they can share their stories.

"They can share their stories. Women have a place where they can come and cry.

I will tell you when someone needs millions to fly abroad; however, there are those whom I turn away. I tell them to give me time because I have a performance or deal coming up, then later send them the money."
