Beatrice Wairimu Mbugua, popularly known as Betty Bayo, was a talented gospel artist who rose to fame after releasing her hit song Eleventh Hour. The song touched many hearts because of its powerful and encouraging message, earning her a special place in the hearts of gospel music lovers across Kenya and beyond.

Betty lived a life full of praise and positivity. She was known not only for her beautiful voice but also for her kind spirit and strong faith in God. Outside music, she was a businesswoman and a devoted mother of two, always showing joy and strength in everything she did. Her fans admired her humility, laughter, and the way she inspired people through her songs and life story.

Sadly, her life took a difficult turn when she was diagnosed with blood cancer, also known as leukemia. Despite battling the illness with courage, the disease reached an advanced stage. Even during her sickness, she continued to encourage others to keep faith and remain strong in God.

Betty leaves behind a rich legacy in the gospel music industry. Her contribution to the growth of gospel music in Kenya will always be remembered. She inspired many upcoming artists and built lasting friendships within and outside the music world. Her passing is a great loss to her family, friends, fellow artists, and the entire gospel fraternity.

We send heartfelt condolences to her mother, husband, children, siblings, and all who knew and loved her. Betty Bayo's life was one of purpose, faith, and joy. She truly maximized her potential and served her calling with grace.

Rest in peace, Betty Bayo — your music, faith, and light will continue to live on in the hearts of many.
